What is Dog Agility?

Dog agility is a sport where a dog and handler works as a team. The handler directs the dog off-leash through an obstacle course of jumps, tunnels, weaves and contact equipment which they have never run before. This requires control of the dog and quick thinking by the handler. Also confidence and trust by both handler and dog.

Many competitions (or trials) happen every year in Ontario and all over Canada. If you've not watched the sport in person you are in for a treat. You are welcome to watch a training session or event. Check our training times or Trial information but PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR (DOG/S) WITH YOU as only dogs entered at the trial can be at the venue and additional dogs during training times can be distracting.
